Lena Waithe has a new podcast to add to your rotation.

Deadline exclusively reports that Lena Waithe, creator of The Chi, will host the Legacy Talk podcast. The series will be produced under Waithe’s Hillman Grad banner along with Lemonada Media.

Per Deadline, Waite will “interview Black icons, discussing specific projects in their careers that have served as key moments or milestones in their lives. They will dive deep into their journeys, how they’ve shifted narratives, broken barriers, and transformed the industry from every angle—whether on-screen, behind the camera, or in the writer’s room.”

The website reports Waithe will hit the ground running when the podcast launches on November 12. It will feature guests like Sheryl Lee Ralph, Gina Prince-Bythewood, Jada Pinkett Smith, Mara Brock Akil, Jenifer Lewis, and Debbie Allen.

Lena Waithe Says Legacy Talk Is More Than Just A Series of Interviews

“I am thrilled to partner with Lemonada Media to launch Legacy Talk,” Waithe said. “This show is so much more than just a series of interviews; it is a celebration of the stories and voices of some of the most renowned Black leaders in entertainment — it is real, unfiltered conversations about their journeys, challenges, and the legacies they have built.”

“Lena Waithe is a powerhouse in the entertainment industry, and her unique perspective and storytelling prowess make her the perfect host for this groundbreaking podcast,” Stephanie Wittels Wachs, Lemonada’s Chief Creative Officer and Co-Founder said. “We are so excited to work with Lena, Rishi, and Justin to continue our mission of bringing these important and inspiring conversations to our listeners,” added Co-Founder and CEO Jessica Cordova Kramer.”

Lemonada also launched Wiser Than Me with Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Fail Better with David Duchovny and signed a deal with Meghan Markle.
