SZA Celebrates The New Year With Bikini-Clad Instagram Photo Dump

We’re just weeks removed from SZA releasing Lana, the deluxe version of her critically acclaimed album SOS from 2022, and she’s already back trending.
However, it’s not for her catchy songwriting penchant about her ex but for showing off how she brought in the new year. Born Solana Rowe, SZA watched the ball drop while vacationing in Costa Rica. She updated her fans via a photo dump on social media with a caption that simply read “humaning.”
The carousel is stuffed with bikini-clad shots of her hanging out on a yacht, selfies on the beach and in the woods, hugging trees running through fields. She switches up the bathsuits, switching between a blue and pink set and a classic Dior logo pattern two-piece.
The singer’s got a lot to celebrate as renewed interest in SOS and fans playing it alongside Lana has helped it remain at No.1 on the Billboard Top R&B Chart for 100 weeks, making it the first album ever to achieve that feat.
While SZA has never shied away from dropping off scantily clad pictures of herself to thirst trap her fans, she recently spoke about cosmetic procedures she’s had done recently and becoming comfortable in her own body.
They include getting a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL), which she often regrets but doesn’t think she had that discernment until after she went under the knife.
But as she tells British Vogue, it began in 2022 when she became a gym rat, but as her muscle mass began to grow, none of her gains went to her butt, which is when the idea of a BBL came out.
“I’m so mad I did that sh-t. I gained all this weight from being immobile while recovering and trying to preserve the fat. It was just so stupid. But who gives a f-ck? You got a BBL; you realize you didn’t need the shit. It doesn’t matter. I’ll do a whole bunch more shit just like it if I want to before I’m fucking dead because this body is temporary,” she revealed. “But I love my butt. Don’t get me wrong. My booty look nice. And I’m grateful that it looks pretty much… I don’t know, sometimes natural, but I don’t even care. It’s something that I wanted. I’m enjoying it. I love shaking it.”
