Whiny White MAGA Morons Want To Boycott Ben And Jerry’s For Not Bowing To Anti-DEI Propaganda

Republican leaders and other MAGA supporters have claimed President Donald Trump will bring the races together, ushering in a new “golden age” of racial harmony. Well, it’s been a week, and it didn’t even take an entire day for Trump to prove it’s not going to work out that way.
Just hours after being sworn in for his second term, Trump signed a sweeping executive order to end diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs in the federal government. Trump’s anti-DEI propaganda warpath then spilled outside of the government as major retailers like Target began rolling back their DEI initiatives. So, now Black people are talking about boycotting Target and the other corporations while white conservatives are calling for boycotts of establishments that have declined to bow down to Trump’s racist AF agenda.
From Newsweek:
Ben & Jerry’s recently posted a TikTok video in which it said, “We use our power, our privilege, our platform and our relationship with our fans to advocate for progressive social change.” The company added, “We’re never gonna stop trying to dismantle white supremacy, end the climate crisis or fight for our democracy.”
The video, which has received more than 10 million views on TikTok, has been reposted on other social media platforms, with some conservatives calling for a boycott of the company.
On X, formerly Twitter, user @TexasRepublic71, who described himself as a “political patriot,” shared the video and told his more than 200,000 followers—including conservative commentator Megyn Kelly—”If you’re not boycotting Ben And Jerry’s ice cream, you will be after you watch this video.”
Other right-wing circle jerks for white supremacy — sorry, I mean social media groups — such as Libs of TikTok, have also railed against Ben and Jerry’s, calling the ice cream giant “a leftist activist company.”
To Ben and Jerry’s credit, the company does not seem to care about these MAGA white people’s fragile feelings.
More from Newsweek:
In the video, two Ben & Jerry’s employees can be seen walking around an office as they deliver the following message together: “‘Stick to ice cream.’ Not gonna lie, we get this one a lot. Yeah, we’re in the ice cream business, but we’ve always been about much more than just ice cream. We use our power, our privilege, our platform and our relationship with our fans to advocate for progressive social change.
“So no, we’re not just gonna stick to ice cream. And we’re never gonna stop trying to dismantle white supremacy, end the climate crisis or fight for our democracy. And no, we’re not gonna stop fighting laws that restrict trans rights and books and roll back abortion protections.
“Caring about that stuff, doing something about it and supporting communities who’ve been directly impacted by it is part of our DNA. And it has been since we opened up our first scoop shop in Burlington, Vermont, back in 1978.
“Ben & Jerry were two best friends who loved making ice cream. But for them, the only reason to be in business was to do business differently. Whether we’re working with activists in St. Louis to close a racist and inhumane jail or working to restore the right to vote for people who are formerly incarcerated in Florida or churning up a delicious new flavor in support of refugee rights in the U.K., being an activist company is who we are.
Look, if a company says it will never “stop trying to dismantle white supremacy,” and, in response, you say, “We need to boycott that company” — you might be a white supremacist.
Just sayin’.
