Welcome to Cassius Approves, where the team drops off some of the hottest items around in fashion, sneakers, tech, and more. Whether an impulsive purchase, a quick Amazon Prime order, or a statement piece, we’re cutting through the noise with our recommendations. Check out our latest selects below.
Air Jordan 1 “Bred”

Source: Nike / SNKRS
The ‘Bred” Jordan 1s are one of –in not the– most anticipated sneaker releases of the year. To restore the feeling, Jordan made them extremely limited and only available to 23 stores, mainly categorized as boutiques, so stopping by your local Foot Locker won’t work. And neither will be logging on to SNKRS on the day of Valentine’s Day release with your fingers crossed. So, while the Jordan Brand has done a fantastic job of returning to basics to create hype around the release, it’s a gut punch to realize how hard they’ll be to attain.
Croc Echo Wave

The popularity of Crocs isn’t waning anytime soon. The brand is offering up a new option aside from the classic model. Introducing the Croc Echo Wave, a more modern and streamlined take on the shoes that give a more stylish look but the same comfort and ease of wear that you’ve come to expect. They’ve been inescapable from your TikTok feed in the New Year and are also available in a slide style as well as the classic with the option strap. While we wait for Salehe Bembury to remix them, pick up your pair on the Crocs site for $70.
Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Navy”

A Jordan and SB mashup may have left you scratching your head at first, but after the ‘Pine Green’ pair flew off shelves in 2023, it’s clear the folks over at the Swoosh are onto something. Now, nearly two years later, they’re getting the blue treatment in a color mockup similar to the Air Jordan 4 ‘Military’ Blue colorway. Expect these to hit your local sneaker spot sometime this summer for $225. In the meantime, you can take a look at the recently leaked hi-res pictures. And who can turn down an OG Nike logo on the heel with some added SB detailing?
Stone Island SS25 Collection

If Stone Island does one thing well, it offers up luxe, understated pieces in tops, bottoms, and jackets that make mixing and matching seamless. Thanks to its sporty edge, nothing seems too high brow, and the Spring/Summer 2025 collection combines the perfect blend of cold weather gear and chunky knit sweaters with that iconic nautical star and compass logo on the left arm. Don’t forget the patches are removable, but that depends on you trying to flex or keep things lowkey. Spike Lee is even featured in the campaign, which is about all the approval you need to know.
Seiko Watch Essential Line

For watch aficionados, there are a few classic models you wish to be able to afford one day, like a Rolex Submariner or a gold Presidential. As for something a bit less typical, the Cartier brand may have crossed your mind. But who’s got a couple of extra racks sitting around for a timepiece? So, as usual, Seiko’s come through with solid, affordable options that are just as reliable. So, if you’re a fan of the Cartier tank, there’s a rectangular-faced Seiko Essential watch with metal or leather bands available on Amazon for less than $200 bucks.
