Frank Ocean Sparks Rumors After Being Spotted With UFC Fighter Peyton Talbott On Valentine’s Day

Frank Ocean is one of the most reclusive R&B singers in recent memory, but recently, he’s been seen publicly and in the company of someone unexpected.
Ocean, 37, has achieved almost mythic status among music fans after releasing a critically acclaimed mixtape in Nostalgia, Ultra, and two full-length albums that are among the most revered of this era. But since his second release, Blonde, in 2016, he’s been quietly living his life away from the spotlight.
But lately, fans are wondering if that will change after a Valentine’s Day post that Ocean shared of UFC fighter Payton Talbott.
On Valentine’s Day, Ocean posted a photo of Talbott against a sunny sky on his Instagram Stories.
Then, sharp-eyed fans noticed that Talbott posted what looks like a video of Ocean on a Valentine’s Day story.
The two were photographed together back in August, but at the time, it didn’t seem like there was anything more to it than two celebs hanging out.
But in January, Talbott acknowledged that he was in Ocean’s IG Story cooking dinner.
“I don’t know, man, I just ended up there,” Talbott said in an interview with Fight Wave.
Talbott has not publicly shared his sexual preference, nor has Ocean, although he revealed that he was in love with a man when he was a teenager. In 2024, Talbott posted, “These hands are bisexual,” when talking about a possible upcoming bout, but it doesn’t appear to be a coming out post.
However, posting someone on Valentine’s Day that you’re not previously known to be interested in or dating is a choice.
As with all things Ocean, fans will have to continue to wonder. That extends to his upcoming film project. According to Variety, he’s writing and/or directing a movie currently shooting in Mexico City. British actor David Jonsson, the 2025 Rising Star winner at the BAFTAs, best known for Alien Romulus and the British comedy Rye Lane, is starring in it, but not much else is known about the project.
As for the Talbott/Ocean dating rumors, well, keep your notifications on for both men’s posts, and maybe they’ll drop more clues.
