Edward Enninful, the influential fashion editor and stylist, has announced his first major post-British Vogue projecta new multimedia company, EE72.

“EE72 represents a natural progression of the foundation I’ve built my career on,” Enninful said in a statement. “We’re creating a space where creativity transcends boundaries, where diverse voices don’t just exist—they lead. Our mission is to reshape how we see and understand each other, building bridges across cultures and communities.”

Last year, Enninful collaborated with Moncler on a collection that included technical materials, long skirts, and layered knitwear, combining practicality with high fashion. Each piece reflected his personal style and included his monogram, EE72.

He founded EE72 with his sister, Akua Enninful, and will be its chief creative director while she assumes the title of CEO.

Celebrity fans cheered him on in the comments of his post, including models Amber Valetta and Karen Elson, actresses Laverne Cox and Adrian DeBose, and Naomi Campbell, who said, “Yeah !! Let’s go @edward_enninful !!! This is going to be an amazing next chapter,” with several fire, applause and heart emojis.

Enninful, 53, was named the first Black editor of British Vogue in 2017, staying in the role until 2024. He was at i-D for two decades before that, joining the fashion outlet when he was just 18. He spent some time as W’s creative director as well.

“I started my career believing in the power of storytelling and how storytelling could change the world we live in,” he said. “And with EE72, we’re honing that vision even more. From i-D to Italian Vogue, Japanese Vogue, American Vogue, W, and British Vogue, all this has led to this moment creating this platform that is to connect people through creativity.

He added, “Now is the right time to launch the platform in such a divided world. I feel like it’s time that we all come together, work together, create together and really show a new way forward. At EE72, we’ll be creating content and experiences that bring people together.”
