Louis Vuitton already has the high fashion game on lock with some of the most recognizable handbags and has attracted new customers after Pharrell Willaims took over as the Men’s Creative Director. But it’s clearly not enough for the Parisian fashion house.

Now, LV wants to enter a new product market by introducing its new makeup line, dubbed La Beauté Louis Vuitton.

It’s set to drop in fall 2025, and despite many other details being kept under wraps, we know that Pat McGrath—who Vogue calls the most influential makeup artist in the world—will become the Creative Director of Cosmetics.

McGrath is not just a makeup artist; she also runs her own billion-dollar eponymous cosmetics company, proving she’s the perfect person who’s worked at the grassroots level and in the boardroom to create a sound product.

“Working backstage for over 20 years at Louis Vuitton fashion shows, I am thrilled to now play such a key role in the launch of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, which is the result of extraordinary craftsmanship, creativity, and innovation,” McGrath said in a press release. “The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty.”

According to an exclusive interview with WWD, the initial offerings will include 55 lipsticks—because of the Roman numerals LV—10 lip balms and eight eye palettes. But in true LV fashion, they’ll create a “lifestyle beauty experience that extends beyond product,” so expect some carrying cases to be available, too.

“Every category that we enter, we try to do it in the best way,” Louis Vuitton CEO Pietro Beccari told WWD. “We took the time to develop incredible ranges and new formulas. We like to come with something never seen before in terms of performance, in terms of long-lastingness, and in terms of colors.”

The product line will be available in just a few months, but initially, it will only be available in its 400-plus stores worldwide.
