Dr. Watson worked with the famed detective in London and the series centers on the year after Holmes’ death at the hands of his chief arch nemesis, Moriarty.
Watson is based in Pittsburgh where Chestnut’s character runs the Holmes Clinic for patients with medical mysteries that he uncovers using his tutelage under Holmes to guide his judgment. Den of Thieves 2: Pantera —Netflix

Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, one of the hottest movies of 2025, has already hit streaming services. The first installment hit us with a crazy twist in the waning moments, and the sequel picks us up right where it ended as we learn what Donnie’s —O’Shea Jackson Jr.— next move is. With some hefty bags of cash in tow, he’s now across the pond in London and preparing for an even bigger stakes heist against the Panther mafia with a whole new crew in his orbit. Even after skillfully getting duped, Big Nick —played by Gerard Butler—returns as they attempt to pull off the world’s largest diamond exchange.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan — Starz

We are officially back in Southside Jamaica Queens and pick up where the dram left off at the end of season 3 in Power Book III: Raising Kanan. In the Power spinoff’s fourth season, Kanan (Mekai Curtis) and his mother, Raq (Patina Miller), still have a shaky relationship but still are working together. Meanwhile, Unique (Joey Bada$$) is plotting from the shadows and is out for revenge after being left for dead in last season’s epic season finale. Top that off with more family drama involving the Thomas family and everyone vying to be at the top of the drug game; you have another great season of Power drama.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan will release new episodes on the Starz app at midnight on Friday and premiere on the Starz channel at 8 p.m. on Friday. —Bernard “Beanz” Smalls
Adolecsence – Netflix

Everything critics and viewers are saying about TV drama Adolescence—the searing single-shot camera work, the white-knuckle tension and the incredible performances—is all true. But they had us when we peeped that Ashley Walters aka “Dushane” from Top Boy, was involved. Showing his breadth as an actor, he portays a fed…ahem, Detective Inspector Bascome who is investigating the alleged murder of a 13-year-old girl by her own classmate. The description doesn’t do it justice, and as a too-short four episodes, you’ll speed through this one, hitting every emotion you can think of along the way.
