Edwards has found himself again embroiled in a text message scandal with a woman he was intimate with about possibly fathering a baby.
InTouch reports that Ayesha Howard, who had a son with Lil Baby in 2015, and Edwards are fighting over paternity and child support for their alleged daughter Aubri Summer Howard, who was born in October 2024. Howard claims that a paternity test proved that Edwards is the father, and through the court filings, she submitted a text thread with him where he makes it clear he doesn’t want a child with her.
“I’m pregnant. I wanted to tell you in person, but you gave me no other choice. We probably should have kept it cordial, but we’re here now. ”
He responds by telling her, “Get da abortion, lol,” but she refuses and tells him he can be as present through her pregnancy as he likes.
Then, in March, when she asks if he hates her, he responds, “Because you bringing a child in the world that’s gone be without a father.”
She continues, saying that she has no interest in having a relationship with him and that he can “completely ghost” the child, as he responds, ” I won’t be in a child life I don’t want lol. You are sick,” followed by laughing emojis.
Edwards found himself in a similar situation in 2023 when he impregnated Instagram model Paige Jordae and similarly asked her to get an abortion and wired $100,000 to her account.
However, he later apologized for pressuring her to get an abortion.
“I made comments in the heat of a moment that are not me, and that are not aligned with what I believe and who I want to be as a man,” he wrote in a statement on X. “All women should be supported and empowered to make their own decisions about their bodies and what is best for them. I am handling my personal matters privately and will not be commenting on them any further at this time.”
