DDG Files For Restraining Order Against Halle Bailey, Claiming She Took His Gun & Threatened Self Harm, Social Media Ignites - Page 8

DDG and Halle Bailey’s relationship ended back in 2024, but the drama persists. The latest comes as the streamer filed a motion to request an emergency hearing and asked the court to restrict Bailey from traveling internationally with their son, Halo, namely on an upcoming work trip to Italy. 
According to People, he’s also requesting a domestic violence restraining order, citing one incident that took place after a heated argument where she allegedly took his gun and left the house with it. He then found her outside with the gun in her hand, claiming she was “emotionally unwell, incoherent and potentially suicidal.”

DDG continues to back up those claims with her alleged text messages, like ones that say “YOU HATE ME AND WANT ME TO DIE !!!” and “I WANT TO DIE BECAUSE [OF] YOU.” She continues, accusing him of sleeping with Lala, presumably fellow streamer Lala Baptiste, which leads to misspelled, frantic, suicidal texts from her, including “IM GOONG TO KILL MYSWLF TONIGHT,” and “MY SON WILL NOT BE AROIND FOR IT,” as well as, “YOI CAN HAVE HIM AND LET HER BE HIS MOM.”
In the court docs, he says she used suicidal and self-harm threats as “emotional coercion and manipulation” within their relationship to “exert her control.” After one episode, she attempted to drive away with their son in the backseat.  DDG says the suspicious behavior also happened when she was pregnant, claiming she put Apple AirTags in all three of his cars to track him. His mother, Tonya Grandberry, and her fiancé, who’s also his driver, helped him search for the hidden devices. She also confirmed the story in the documents, remembering one was found under the seat of his Maybach.  “The first AirTag was discovered in June 2023, Darryl called me that night, stating that Petitioner, Halle Bailey, had shown up uninvited to a movie theater in Beverly Hills where he was attending a film with a female friend,” she said according to the filing. She’s also being accused of physical abuse, with DDG sharing photos of a gash in his finger and bruises on his forehead that he claims Bailey inflicted. 
The filing comes as a response to Bailey getting temporary custody of Halo weeks ago and accusing DDG of similar abusive behavior with photographic evidence. At that time, she asked the courts to grant him just one hour of supervised visitation a week, and didn’t want him taking Halo outside of LA County.  See how social media is reacting to the filing below.
