Just one day after Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was detained pending trial in New York, a documentary about his alleged acts over the past two decades is already in the works.
Investigation Discovery, commonly known as ID, is ready to explore all of the allegations against him, reports Deadline.
Earlier this year, the network had great success with Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV about the bullying, abuse, and toxic work environment for minors who work in television. Returning, Maxine Productions, behind the doc, now has its eyes set on delving into the alleged abuse Diddy has inflicted.
The docuseries is set to hit the air in 2025 and will explore “the rise and influence of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and the allegations of violent behavior and illegal activity that have trailed the music mogul. As accounts of sexual assault, abusive behaviors, and other disturbing claims surface, the doc traces the story of this self-proclaimed Bad Boy, unraveling allegations of a pattern of depravity.”
As a billionaire, the docuseries will get into the influence he has in the music industry and how he wielded his power to continue abuse and keep alleged victims quiet, adding that the episodes will offer “insight into unfolding allegations against the once untouchable superstar. It will also highlight the toxic power dynamic that played out within the industry and kept many survivors silenced – until now.”
News of the new production comes after Diddy has been obtained by authorities and spent the night in a Brooklyn federal jail, where R. Kelly and Ghislaine Maxwell have also stayed.
He’s being held without bail on charges including sex trafficking by force, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy. Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, attempted to get his client released on a $50 million bail package, but because of his immense wealth, he’s been deemed a flight risk.
