Fresh off spending a relaxing Mother’s Day trip in St. Lucia with her sister Chloe, Halle Bailey has been thrust back into the drama surrounding her ex, YouTuber and rapper DDG.
The Little Mermaid actress has been granted a restraining order against her child’s father after accusing him of assaulting her on several occasions, so he must stay at least 100 yards away from her.

According to TMZ, things turned physical back in January. They broke up in October but met up at her house to work out a visitation schedule for their son, 1-year-old Halo. Once the meeting was over, DDG, born Daryl Granberry, got annoyed while Bailey was buckling the kid in his car seat.
“Get out of my car, B-TCH,” he reportedly told her, as the child cried.
That’s when they started to “wrestle,” and he slammed her head on the steering wheel, which chipped her tooth as he pulled her hair. She cried and stayed in his car as they drove to his home, where she told his family what happened.
In the restraining order request, she attached photo evidence of the chipped tooth as well as bruises on her arm.
Bailey alleges that on another occasion, DDG also entered her home without her permission when she wasn’t there.
He creeped her out by going to her bedroom, taking a picture of her bed and texting it to her with the message “now I know what u been on lol.” Which she thinks was accusing her of being promiscuous.
Then another incident happened days later when he wanted to pick up Halo, but Bailey refused because they were both sick. The YouTuber was upset and allegedly destroyed her Ring camera and ran away with her phone before tossing it out the window of his car while he drove off, yelling at her, “GO GET IT B-TCH.”
To support her claims, she says she’s got Ring camera footage.
Bailey says social media also played a part when he texted her tweets from internet sleuths claiming her Mother’s Day trip was spent with R&B singer Brent Faiyaz, which she denied.
“not with any man out here,” she replied. “i wouldn’t do that, i have halo … please let me enjoy my mother’s day in peace. i hope you are okay and feel better soon.”
