The biggest night in music was over, and the 67th annual Grammys was full of memorable moments and performances.
Before the show even started, we saw a bunch of stars walk down the red carpet, including Kanye West in a simple black fit and his wife in a shocking see-through sheer dress.
However, once the stars were led into Los Angeles’ Crypto arena, the Trevor Noah-hosted night began, with nearly all genres, from country to Hip-Hop, represented.
There was even a Quincy Jones tribute for the late music producer who shaped the industry for decades. In a much-deserved honor, artists like Janelle Monae, Cynthia Erivo, Jacob Collier, Stevie Wonder, and Herbie Hancock took the stage to perform songs that he helped engineer.
One of the most surprising moments of the night includes Doechii‘s project Alligator Bites Never Heal, winning the award for Best Rap Album of the Year as she beat out acts like J. Cole, Eminem, and Future & Metro Boomin.
“I don’t want to make this long. But this category was introduced in 1989, and two women have won. Lauryn Hill—three women have won. Lauryn Hill, Cardi B, and Doechii,” she told the audience. “I put my heart and soul into this mixtape. I dedicated myself to sobriety, and God told me that I would be rewarded and that he would show me just how good it can get.”
Another big moment came when Beyoncé, despite being the winningest artist in the award show’s history, won Album of the Year for Cowboy Carter and was equally as surprised as viewers when she took the stage after accepting the award from members of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“It’s been many, many years. I just want to thank the Grammys, every songwriter, every collaborator, every producer, all of the hard work. I want to dedicate this to Miss [Linda] Martell, and I hope we keep pushing forward and opening doors,” Beyoncé said, acknowledging one of the most important Black women in country music.
But beyond the awards handed out, check out some of the biggest fashion hits and misses below, as well as general reactions to the night’s festivities.
1. Shaboozey

Shaboozey has been riding the high of his country hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” for about a year now, and aside from a bunch of award show performances, he’s also stunted in several red carpet looks. For the Grammys, he wore a customer Diesel look complete with black pants but a shiny plaid suit jacket up top. He finished the look with a matching scarf draped around his neck that fell to his pointed shoes.
2. Will Smith

Will Smith’s redemption tour continues after the infamous slap, including switching up his typical suits for something with a bit more flair. For him, that’s classic black pants and shoes, but a custom Balmain jacket. It included embroidery down the chest and matching detailing on the wrists. He rocked his signature smile and a blacked-out pair of shades, too.
3. Jaden Smith

Like father, not like son. Jaden still rocked his father’s typical classic tuxedo, as shown in the Louis Vuitton look he rocked. But the similarities and classics ended there as the rapper rocked a black house on his head. It reportedly cost $4,615 and was purchased from the brand ABODI, which lists it as a “Wearable Vampire Castle Headpiece.”
The product description states, “this creation embodies the brand’s essence and origins, drawing inspiration from films, vampire legends, and historical narratives.”
He is more MET Gala appropriate than Grammys red carpet but knows how to be thought-provoking.
4. Trevor Noah

Trevor Noah got all the attention he needed as the host of the 67th Grammys, so he kept things pretty chill when he hit the red carpet before taking the stage. He opted for a Giorgio Armani navy blue suit that included a matching button-up, bowtie, and shoes. For added detailing, the jacket had a tonal chevron pattern stitched, as well as a few Tiffany broaches atop his lapel. He switched to a white suit jacket while hosting, but kept the blue broach, donating to those affected by the California wildfires.
5. Kanye West

Decades into his rap career, Kanye West is still finding ways to shock his contemporaries (and fans) at award shows.
And this time, he didn’t even have to enter the building. Instead West walked the red carpet rocking a simple black tee and pants look. He wore oversized clunky boots and a classic pair of Prada shades and let his wife, Bianca Censori, do all the talking. She rocked a black fur coat but made a big reveal in front of the photographers by dropping it to the ground to reveal a completely sheer dress that left nothing to the imagination.
