Aside from promoting his latest Yeezy models and hawking his $20 sweatsuits, Kanye West has (surprisingly) remained pretty quiet on social media.
But that all changed when he logged into X Saturday night (Feb. 1) to get off one of his ceremonious woe-is-me rants.
He began by thanking the Grammys for nominating his Ty Dolla $ign-assisted track ‘Carnival’ for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance, but then immediately switched tunes to his love for MAGA and his approval of Elon Musk changing Twitter to X.
“The world is so lucky to have me. Trumps back in office. Ye’s back a billionaire. The world might just be ok,” his tweets read. “Calling X Twitter is like calling Ye Kanye. I don’t wanna hear nobody call twitter twitter I mean X Don’t call X twitter.”
He later remembered being canceled for wearing the MAGA hat, writing, “I risked my life to wear a red hat, then he turned it black.”
He continues by professing that he’s so wealthy he can say (or type) whatever he pleases.
“Damn. Just warming up. I’m rich. I can say whatever the fuck I want. I do this for the broke me. Shout out to broke me this one for you,” he says, before poking fun at his antisemitic controversy by tweeting “Shalom,” a common Hebrew greeting used by Jewish people.
But then his political opinions got wildly disrespectful, reading, “I used to want to f-ck Kamala until she loss. I don’t f-ck losers anymore.”
In a typical Kanye move, he soon after deleted the tweet and joked he was forced to.
“The democrats made me take the loser post down. Naw I’m kidding. Dey don’t control black people no more. Trump 4 life,” he wrote.
The Chicago native then spews off a bunch of random tweets about Taylor Swift being the only person he follows on Instagram, his text thread with Elon Musk, the NBA Finals beginning next week (they aren’t), and more.
His most recent message returns the conversation to Kamala Harris, who “seems like a very nice human I just wanna say sorry to her kids.”
