There’s a short list of kicks that sneakerheads can all agree look better a little worn in, like Vans, Air Jordan 1s, and Converse Chuck Taylors

Not included on that list is the Air Force 1, which sports a creased up toe box almost as quickly as you slide your feet into a fresh pair of white-on-whites.

Now, Nike is harkening back to 2014’s Jordan 1 SB “Lance Mountain” and dropping a pair of Air Forces that change as you wear them. But, with the introduction of the “Dirty Triple White” Air Force 1, Nike is offering a cooked pair of sneakers that get fresher over time.

The pair comes with an already slightly wrinkled toe box, dirty stitching with snagged thread, a discolored sock liner, off-white laces, and a scuffed-up, somewhat yellowed midsole.

A black-on-black pair will also be available, and both will come with a toothbrush and a card explaining your new purchase.

“…but you’re only scratching the surface. Here is the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Dirty Triple White.’ The more you wear it, the more beautiful it becomes. It’s that simple. It’s black-and-white,” reads the card. “We put a toothbrush in there, too, in case you want to take things into your own hands. Do your thing. Make these AF1s your own personal time machine.”

The release comes out of left field from Nike’s .SWOOSH arm, which focuses on gaming-related releases and claims to be the company’s “next arena of play.” With Gen Z streaming king Kai Cenat, they most recently announced the pixelated-looking “Low Poly” Air Max 1 releases inspired by classic video games like Donkey Kong, Tomb Raider, and 007’s Goldeneye

But they’ve put down the sticks for a bit to join in on the wear-away craze.

Complex‘s Brendan Dunne got an early look at the sneakers, which you can peep below.

If you’re down to ride the dirty sneaker wave, the Air Force 1 in “Dirty Triple White” and “Triple Triple Black” will release on SNKRS on May 7 for $130.
