Since bum-rushing onto the music scene in 2022 with her viral hit “Munch (Feelin’),“ Ice Spice has signed a partnership with Nicki Minaj’s label imprint, inked a sponsorship with Dunkin’ Donuts, and befriended Taylor Swift.
But in those few years in the public eye, the one thing she hasn’t been is romantically linked to any famous folks. Now that’s changed thanks to some hints dropped by the New York Jets’ cornerback Sauce Gardner.
The two-time Pro-Bowler posted a few suggestive photos to his Instagram via a carousel. Gardner is seen leaning against a Rolls-Royce in the first picture, but a quick swipe shows the red-headed rapper by his side in some candid shots.
In the last photo, he appears to solidify the relationship with a graphic of a bottle of sauce —wearing his Number One jersey— and holding a shovel, alongside a freshly planted red rose.
The photos also made their way to his Instagram Stories, which he highlighted with a bandaged red heart emoji.
This isn’t the first time the two have been spotted together. They were most recently seen in the background of a TikTok skit while riding an escalator, at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party in March, and at the premiere party for Druski’s Coulda Been Love YouTube series.
The romance likely has been brewing for a while, though, since the Bronx-born rapper was also photographed with Jets owner Woody Johnson and his wife Suzanne at the team’s season opener against the New England Patriots last September.
With the 2025 NFL Draft and OTAs around the corner, it’s time for Gardner to get his head in the game because he failed to be named an All-Pro last season despite earning the title in his first two seasons.
However, the team’s newly minted head coach, Aaron Glenn, who played for the franchise in the 1990s, is optimistic that Gardner has the talent to dominate at the cornerback position.
“He can be the best in the league,” Glenn said at the NFL’s annual meeting. “I’m not worried about what happened last year with him. The only thing I know is the conversations we’ve had and who he is as a man. I know for a fact that he’s going to get back to where he needs to be.”
