Ray J may be known for hit-making skills like “One Wish” and the meme-worthy “I Hit it First,” but his off-the-wall interviews and candid phone calls are always comical.
He’s back at it again, after chopping it up with Kai Cenat on one of his recent streams. He got jealous of other stars like Druski, Quavo, Kevin Hart, and others who participate in his overnight streams, including sharing meals together and sleeping in the same room.
The R&B singer wants in on the fun, immediately asking, “Pause, so y’all took showers together, right?”
Cenat quickly clarifies that they’re spread out in the communal bathroom and rock swimming trunks, so there’s no funny business actually going on.
The streamer says they’re not sleeping together “like that,” but Ray J is still mad he wasn’t invited to the slumber party.
“I meant like how y’all meant it. I wanna sleep over too,” Ray J adds. “I wanna sleep with y’all n-ggas too. Pause, I know.”
After permitting Cenat to call him “Unc,” he says he’d be upset if he were left off the invite list again for the next sleepover.
“These n-ggas in the city, they over there sleeping in the bed like I want to sleep in the bed too,” said Ray J. “I don’t mean sleeping with you. I mean, I want my own bunk. Kevin Hart got a bunk, Druski got a bunk, n-gga, this is a big night. This one of the biggest nights, I want to sleep too n-gga. That’s all I’m saying.”
Cenat hilariously stares dead into the camera as Ray J pours out his feelings. The joke amused the internet, but Ray’s sister, R&B singer and actress Brandy, wasn’t.
According to a screenshot posted to his Instagram Stories, she texted him, “Come on Ray? What’s going on with you? You’re so much better than this!!”
Ray responded that people shouldn’t hate on him for being himself. He doesn’t care what others’ opinions are of him and says he’s “crashing out.”
