The legal fight between Jay-Z and Houston-area attorney Tony Buzbee shows no signs of slowing down.

Hov’s lawyer was able to poke holes in the victim’s story, which alleged that in 2000, he, alongside disgraced Hip-Hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, raped a 13-year-old girl at an MTV VMA after-party.

The victim said she made “mistakes” recounting that night, and NBC News found several inconsistencies, including her false description of the residence she was assaulted in, meeting members of Good Charlotte and the party, and even her own father not remembering driving five hours to come pick her up.

Still, Buzbee refuses to back down, according to USA Today. So much so that on Wednesday, he filed a lawsuit accusing Jay-Z’s Roc Nation lawyer, Marcy Croft, and law firm, Quinn Emanuel, of using “shadowy operatives” by trying to get some of his clients to turn on Buzbee and sue him.

Buzbee believes the action was taken because Jay-Z’s side thought it would deter them from pursuing legal action against him in the Diddy-related case.

“These folks have stooped to a new low to try to intimidate the lawyers of the Buzbee Law Firm from doing their important work. This conduct was specifically targeted at our firm so we would not pursue cases related to the Diddy litigation,” Buzbee said in a statement. “But, we will not be bullied or intimidated.”

Buzbee says Roc Nation is financing the scheme while the law firms and investigators are doing the dirty work. In the suit, Buzbee alleges that the client was offered $10,000, and lawyers’ agents showed up posing as Texas state employees and “flashed fake badges.”

Just as when Buzbee’s original claim was released, Jay-Z’s lawyers responded quickly, confident that the lawsuit would ultimately be dropped because Jane Doe’s account wasn’t factual.

“Tony Buzbee’s baloney lawsuit against Roc Nation is nothing but another sham,” Roc Nation said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “It’s a pathetic attempt to distract and deflect attention. This sideshow won’t change the ultimate outcome and true justice will be served soon.”
