Forgetting you’re on a livestream or slipping up with a hateful comment is one thing; what Shannon Sharpe may have done is on an entirely different level of embarrassment.

According to videos posted on X—which we won’t be sharing—the Super Bowl champ may have accidentally clicked on Instagram Live while getting intimate with a lady friend. His phone was sitting nearby, and only picked up sounds.

The video compilation begins with some muffling and slow music playing in the background. But soon, you begin to hear a woman audibly moaning and appearing to be saying his name. Other inaudible words can be heard, but a smack and a male voice are also on the tape.

At one point, Live had more than 4,000 viewers—even though the screen eventually went black—so of course, plenty of people screen-recorded it and shared it with X.

Soon after, the Club Shay Shay host deleted the compromising video and claimed to his 3.2 million followers that he’d been part of a cyber attack.

“Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I are working vigorously to figure this out — UNC,” he wrote on his Instagram stories with a bunch of sirens.

Paul Pierce was the last ESPN employee to get caught in a compromised state when he was on a stripper-filled Instagram Live session while he played poker, and he was swiftly terminated. So there’s no telling how Sharpe’s ESPN bosses will respond.

Of course, social media is clowning Sharpe’s IG Live slip-up. See the reactions below.
