There are less than two weeks until the 2024 presidential election, and as the days dwindle, the Democrats get spicier and spicier.
The latest moment came when Tim Walz appeared on the campaign trail in Wisconsin—where Trump lost by just under 21,000 votes in 2020— to attack Trump’s running mate.
However, he wasn’t talking about JD Vance, but Elon Musk, who’s quick to defend Trump on social media and recently announced that he’d give away $1 million each day to registered voters in battleground states in hopes of swaying them to the right.
But publicly, the tech billionaire was at a Pennsylvania rally in early October, acting as a cheerleader, when he literally (and unathletically) jumped up and down on stage upon greeting Trump near the podium.
For that, Governor Walz just had to poke fun at the Tesla founder’s actions.
“Look, Elon’s on that stage, jumping around and skipping like a dipsh-t on these things, you know?” he said. “Think about that. That guy is literally the richest man in the world, spending millions of dollars to help Donald Trump buy an election.”
Next, he ripped Trump’s attempt to troll Kamala Harris over her working at McDonald’s, adding he’s “much more like Ronald McDonald than the clown that he actually is” and that the mascot actually wears less makeup than Trump.
Walz also underscored Trump’s constant need to lie, saying his heart was “a cold, Grinchy, three-sizes-too-small heart.”
As Wisconsin’s ballots were cast Tuesday on the first day of early in-person voting, former President Barack Obama also made a pitstop at that same rally, referring to him as “older, loonier Donald Trump,” whose two-hour speeches consist of nothing more than word salad akin to Fidel Castro’s.
Obama had a busy Tuesday. Because of plane troubles, he was forced to drive to Wisconsin from Chicago and then to Detroit, where Harris was campaigning.
He was introduced by Detroit legend Eminem and joked that he was nervous before reciting “Lose Yourself” lyrics, saying his “palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy,” much to the crowd’s enjoyment.
Obama even roasted Trump because the only thing he seems to do other than complain is “hawking merchandise” like Bibles, gold sneakers, and a $100,000 watch.
