If the sounds of “Just Got Paid” are ringing in the ears of Jason and Travis Kelce, you can’t blame them. The NFL brothers just signed a $100M deal with Amazon’s Wondery for their New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce podcast, among the richest deals in the podcast industry.
The deal is for three years, reports say. The podcast launched in Sept. 2022, becoming the most-listened-to sports podcast on Spotify within weeks of its debut. In 2024, New Heights won iHeart Media’s Podcast of the Year award and the Podcast Academy’s Sports Podcast of the Year.
New Heights is now one of the top four podcasts in the U.S., and its YouTube channel has over 2 million subscribers.
The podcast is a collaboration between the siblings, who were born and raised near Cleveland, Ohio. Both played for the Cincinnati Bearcats in college before going their separate ways in the NFL. Jason, 36, was the center for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 seasons, winning a Super Bowl in 2018. He retired after last season. His brother Travis, 34, is a three-time Super Bowl champion tight end going into his eleventh season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 2023, the Eagles played the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII, becoming the first brothers in NFL history to play against each other in the championship game.
“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of New Heights,” the Kelce brothers said in a statement.
“We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons. Wondery understands the shared vision and will offer a wealth of experience and resources to take us to ‘New Heights’! We are going to create some groundbreaking moments together through this partnership. We are thrilled to start Season 3 — see you soon, 92%ers!”
The podcast’s third season started on Wednesday, Aug. 28 and will drop new episodes each Wednesday after that. It’s expected that the podcast will expand across Amazon’s brands like FireTV and Wondery’s paid service as well.
Travis and Jason still have their day jobs—Travis with the Chiefs and host of the new Prime Video show Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity? and Jason as a newly minted NFL commentator for ESPN.
Social media is shocked about the major bag the Kelce brothers nabbed. See the reactions below.
