Tyrese Jailed In Georgia For Failing To Pay $75,000 In Child Support, Social Media Piles On

In an Instagram Live the day before court, he seemed to know an arrest was coming, noting how he’s never been to jail because he doesn’t do anything illegal. He also questioned why Lee’s lawyers didn’t check his bank statements to prove he’s been paying – though TMZ reports he was paying about $2,200 a month. The $73k he now owes includes $7,500 for Samantha’s attorney fees, and the outlet reports Tyrese is currently making arrangements to pay it and will thus be released soon.You might remember that during Black History Month this year, the Baby Boy actor declared he wished he was “born Latino” because the Latino community and other ethnic groups are more “grounded in family” than the Black community. It was as rich then as it is now that the guy who cheated on his Black wife and cries about having to pay child support for his Black children has the unmitigated gall to chide Black people on our family values. Now that he has been arrested over his failure to practice what he preaches, he has provided folks on social media to call him out as the hypocrite he demonstrably is. So, it appears that the problem Tyrese has is not so much the fact that he was born Black, not Latino, as much as it is that he was born Tyrese. Focus on yourself, sir.
