As with any big Hollywood scandal, conspiracy theories are at an all-time high.

So once Diddy’s homes were raided as mounting accounts of rape and sex trafficking began to stack against him, social media started tuning up its tin hat.

Rumors have been flying over who was involved in his alleged freak-off sex parties, and his connection to Usher was brought up. It didn’t help the Atlanta R&B legend’s status when suddenly all of his tweets were deleted from his X account over the weekend, causing fans to think it was connected to Diddy’s legal issues.

However, after letting social media run with multiple narratives for over a day, he cleared things up by saying he was hacked and promoted his then-upcoming concert.

“Account got hacked, and damn, y’all ran with it!” he wrote with laughing crying, and wide-open eyes emojis. “See you tonight at Intuit Dome.”

The Intuit Dome show he referred to was the first of three shows there as part of his The Usher: Past, Present, Future Tour. It’s set to hit other cities like Dallas, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston before taking the show overseas in 2025 for an additional 20 shows.

Despite his explanation, fans didn’t believe it one bit, with the one post that received 15,000 likes reading, “So crazy how it got hacked…but instead of posting crazy stuff, the hacker just DELETED your posts and Diddy just got arrested…and all the stuff with Justin Bieber. Soooooo weird we all ‘ran with it.’ Right bro.”

Diddy’s ex-girlfriend Cassie filed a lawsuit accusing him of a decades-long cycle of sexual abuse in November of 2023, but his name has been in the news again after 1,000 bottles of lube were found in his home, and he was denied bail twice after being arrested early last week.

See how social media is reacting to Usher’s response below.
